Man charged with attempted murder in Moose Jaw

Moose Jaw police attended to a home on South Hill at 3:16 p.m. yesterday for a report of a disturbance.

An adult male needed medical attention for head trauma, and he was transported to Moose Jaw’s Wigmore Hospital, and then to Regina General Hospital for further medical care.

A 37-year-old male who was known to the victim was taken into custody at the scene and charged with attempted murder.

He made his first court appearance in Moose Jaw provincial court this morning.

Police are continuing to investigate.
