A familiar face from the Saskatchewan Roughriders training camp has returned.
Jordan Tucker has re-signed with the Roughriders. The 6’6-340 lb. American offensive lineman was injured in May and was subsequently released by the club in May.
Last season, Tucker signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent and attended training camp with the team.
Tucker played four collegiate seasons (2018-21) at the University of North Carolina. The 23-year-old played in 45 games and made 35 starts, primarily at right tackle. In 2022, he was part of an offensive line that helped the Tar Heel offence average 212.5 rushing yards per game and 35.2 points per game, the second and third best mark in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
In a corresponding move, the Roughriders have released National kicker Campbell Fair.
