Two people are facing numerous charges after the Regina Police Gang Unit uncovered a cache of weapons, illegal drugs and cash.

This happened last Saturday, as the police along with the SWAT Team raided a home in the 1900 Block of Winnipeg Street.

Police say they recovered two guns, ammunition, more than 28 grams of cocaine, a bullet proof vest, and material used for selling illegal drugs. Police also siezed more than $16,000 in cash.

40 year-old Christopher Maytwayashing and 36 year-old Jayde Boyle are facing charges connected to the possession of weapons, ammunition and drugs.

They are both also charged with violating court orders.
