Red Sox eliminated from playoffs after 9-1 loss to Medicine Hat

 

 

The Regina Red Sox season came to an end on Tuesday night after they were defeated by the Medicine Hat Mavericks 9-1.

Medicine Hat scored eight of their runs from three home runs courtesy of Tyler Vanneste, Brady Bean and Nathan Tarver.

Regina was limited to four hits on the night, Zander Oudie-Senger took the loss, he allowed eight runs over 4.1 innings.

Justin Simard scored the lone run for the Red Sox on passed ball.

Medicine Hat will now face Moose Jaw in the East Division Finals after Moose Jaw swept Swift Current last night with 8-6 win.

The West Division Finals will see the Okotoks Dawgs meet the Sylvan Lake Gulls after the Dawgs eliminated the Fort McMurray Giants while the Gulls finished off the Lethbridge Bulls.
