Special needs bike stolen

Its more than a bike, it represents freedom.

It represents being able to make your own way, and its crucial for a 27 year old in Regina.

“Austin” is autistic, and has a learning disability.  The special bike is a huge part of his ability to get around the city.  The bike was stolen from outside the Walmart on Rochdale on Sunday August 13th.  As you can imagine, this is devastating.

According to his mom, he uses it all the time to get around and visit friends.  Without it, he can’t go where he wants to, when he wants to.

The bike is in a trike configuration, with two wheels in the back, a stretched frame, and one wheel on the front.

Its bright yellow in colour with a big orange flag on the back.

If you have seen it, please contact the Regina Police Service.
