The Regina Humane Society is recognizing a million dollar donation from local businesspeople E. Craig and Pamela Lothian.

The money will go to the Almost Home campaign from the Humane Society, which has a $15 million goal, as well as the new 40,000 square foot RHS Animal Community Centre.

The Humane Society said that in honour of this substantial donation, both the Animal Community Centre’s Animal Services Centre and Adoption Lobby will be named in Craig and Pamela’s honour.

The Almost Home campaign still has about $1 million to raise of its $15 million goal.
