Clay Walker to perform at Williston, ND fundraiser

This week, Gloria and Cody had the opportunity to talk to 90’s country legend Clay Walker as he prepares to perform at an important fundraiser in Williston, ND.

CHI St. Alexius Health Williston and and the Mercy Medical Foundation are teaming up to host a fundraising concert on September 9th at the Williston ARC. The funds raised from Hometown Healing will go towards CHI St. Alexius’s expansion and revival project, which aims to update the mother-baby unit with a MedSurge unit in addition to expanding the current MedSurge unit to accommodate 22 new emergency beds.

“So excited to be coming to perform for a a great cause in Williston,” stated Walker. “I’ve performed a lot in Montana, some in North Dakota, so I’m excited to be in that part of the country.”

Clay Walker burst on to the country music scene back in 1993 when his debut song “What’s it to You” reached number one on the country chart. Later that year he’d find himself in that number one spot again with “Live Until I Die.” In total he’d score six number one songs and multiple top 10 hits over the course of his career.

Tickets to see Clay Walker at Hometown healing in Williston are still available through www.claywalker.com. Doors open at 5pm with the show starting at 7pm. Tickets range in price from $40 to $50 U.S. dollars.
