The nine teams in the Canadian Football League (CFL) unveiled ten players from their negotiation list on Friday.
Teams are required to announce the players in September and December of each year.
A pair of key contributors on the Roughriders offence were formerly on the negotiation list were running back Jamal Morrow and Tevin Jones.
Here is the list of ten players on the Roughriders negotiation list.

Ta’Amu spent one season (2017) backing up Shea Patterson for one season at Ole Miss before becoming the Rebels starter after Patterson transferred to the University of Michigan. Ta’Amu has spent time with seven different NFL teams and started with the St.Louis Battlehawks of the XFL and the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL. In 2022, Ta’Amu led the USFL in passing yardage and touchdowns.
Mims was a 7th round pick of the 2018 NFL Draft of the Chicago Bears and has spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders and Arizona Cardinals.
Davis played 11 games over two seasons (2020-21) with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was taken by the Steelers in the 7th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The former Nebraska Cornhusker spent the 2023 training camp with the Atlanta Falcons before he was released last month.
Ursua was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 7th round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He appeared in one game in 2019 and made one reception for 11 yards. He spent time on the team’s practice squad in 2020 before he suffered a torn ACL in 2021.
