The Regina Police Service says a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in the city’s east end has left one man dead.

The RPS was called to the 1500 block of 7th Avenue East shortly before 1:00 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man who had appeared to have been struck by a large truck lying in the roadway.

EMS attended the scene and confirmed that the man was dead.

Regina Police say their Traffic Safety Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are investigating the collision.
