The Regina Police Service has provided an update regarding last week’s fatal collision.

The RPS says that after the completion of the investigation, no charges have been laid.

Shortly before 1:00 p.m. last Friday, officers were called to the scene in the 1500 block of 7th Avenue East. When officers arrived, they found a male victim lying in the roadway, who appeared to have been struck by a large truck. 

EMS attended and confirmed the adult male victim was deceased.

Officers from the Traffic Safety Unit and Forensic Identification Unit conducted the investigation and concluded the vehicle’s driver was not at fault.
