A vehicle driven by a youth hit a building, leading to a damaged building and charges of impaired driving for the youth.

At about 12:30 Saturday morning, a call came to RPS about a vehicle that struck a residence on the 5000 block of 10th avenue.

Officers arriving noted the vehicle also hit a natural gas line and a light standard was also struck.

Officers found the suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated.

The 16-year-old boy was arrested without incident and charged with impaired driving, failing to stop after an accident, failing to comply with conditions and theft of a motor vehicle.

He made his first court appearance today.
