A business that is celebrating 120 years of service to Saskatchewan is being honoured at this weekend’s ABEX Awards in Saskatoon.
The Hill Group of Companies is being inducted into the Saskatchewan Business Hall of Fame.
It started out as McCallum Hill in 1903 and was mostly in real estate in Saskatchewan. Over time that company grew its portfolio of businesses to include broadcasting, digital media, land development, property management, office furniture and more.
Paul Hill is the Executive Chairman of the Hill Group, and he is proud of the growth, and strength the company has shown through good times, and bad. It’s the work the company and its subsidiaries do in the community that really brings it home.
“Inspiring people through an intense process to help people get through difficult times, and it enhances their ability to become successful.”
The Hill’s success has been built on two principles – caring and commitment. They demand it of themselves and of their entire team.
The Hill Group has been a family company, including Paul Hill’s children Matt and Roseanne having key roles in the organization.
The Hill Group is the parent company of Harvard Media, which owns this radio station.
