The Regina Police Service announced that they are investigating a homicide that happened early Saturday morning.

Police say that at 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Winnipeg Street for an injured man. The man was pronounced dead on the scene shortly after by EMS.

The identity of the male victim is not known at this time.
