Its been a summer of air quality advisories, because of wildfires throughout western, and northern Canada.
Air quality in and around Regina was at a rating of “4” as of noon Sunday, which is considered to be a moderate risk to health .
Its expected to improve Sunday night, before returning to the same levels on Monday.
Most of the current “Air Quality Statements” are in north western, and north central Saskatchewan.
Temperatures will continue to be above normal until the middle of the week, and then its going to cool to more average values for this time of the year
Sunday’s high in Regina was forecast to be 29, with 27 expected on Monday. Average highs for this time of year are closer to 17 degrees, with the average low around 3 degrees.
