The Saskatchewan Roughriders made a couple of roster moves on Monday, signing two defenders.

Global defensive lineman Habakkuk Baldonado and American defensive back William Poole III agreed to terms with the green and white.

Baldonado (6’5-260) joined the New York Giants as undrafted free agent earlier this year. The Italian defensive lineman suited up for three preseason games for the Giants tallying four tackles, a sack and a pass defended. Hewas the second-round selection of the Roughriders in the 2023 CFL Global Draft.

Poole III (6’0-190) spent six seasons with the University of Georgia (2017-22). The the former Bulldog recorded 27 tackles, including 1.5 for a loss, and four pass knockdowns. Poole III was a member of the Georgia team that claimed the CFP National Championship.
