Suspect wanted after car-jacking in Regina

Police are looking for a suspect after a car-jacking on the Service Road near Victoria Avenue.

Just after 10:30pm last Saturday police were called by someone who said they had their SUV stolen.  They were on the service road, under the Ring Road Overpass.

The victim and her passenger say a man was walking down the middle of the street, and when they slowed down, the man approached the vehicle with a bat, and demanded they get out.

Police were able to track the vehicle to where it was abandoned in the 1600 block of Montreal Street.  Numerous items from inside the vehicle were stolen.

The suspect is described as a male in his 30’s, wearing a dark winter coat with a hood or a toque covering his head.
