The Saskatchewan Roughriders have been forced to shuffle their roster for Friday’s contest against Ottawa.
Frankie Hickson will start at running back with Jamal Morrow (knee) out this week.
Philip Blake will get his first start of the season at left guard, Evan Johnson will serve as the team’s sixth offensive lineman.
QB Mason Fine is back on the roster after going down with a hamstring on August 11 against Montreal, he will backup Jake Dolegala. Shea Patterson has been moved to the team’s practice roster.
On defence, Derrick Moncrief will move back to safety with C.J. Reavis taking over the starting spot at LB.
Rookie Lake Korte-Moore will start in Anthony Lanier’s (hip) spot at DE.
Demarcus Christmas will take over Miles Brown at DT. Brown (groin) has been placed on the six-game injured list.
Joining Brown on the six-game injured list are LB Justin Herdman-Reed (quad), DE Nic Dheilly (foot) and DB Nelson Lokombo (knee).
Pete Robertson will start at DE after being listed as questionable (back/ribs).
