Wenatchee Wild Head Coach Kevin Constantine has been suspended by the Western Hockey League (WHL) pending an independent investigation into alleged violations of WHL Regulations and Policies.
Constantine was suspended on Sunday, after the WHL’s independent reporting channel received a complaint regarding his conduct. He is not allowed contact with any member of the organization, including players during the investigation.
The WHL’s independent Player Advisory Council is conducting an investigation into the allegations. Once that’s completed, they will provide a report to the WHL Commissioner who will then decide if further disciplinary action will be issued.
On Monday, the WHL Security Network and team management met with the Wild players to address the situation and offer support.
