After several weeks of negotiations, it appears that Prince Albert workers affiliated with CUPE 882 have finally reached an agreement.
Two days of talks have resulted in a few wins for union members including access to vision care for all employees, an 11 percent wage increase spread over three years, and the extension of Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) benefits to all, regardless of their permanent or non-permanent status.
The tentative agreement is now scheduled for a vote among union members on September 29.
