The City of Regina says the fire at the Gordon Block Building at 2170 – 12th Avenue was deliberately set.

Regina Fire and Protective Services (RFPS) has completed its investigation and confirmed the building was clear of any occupants and determined the cause of this fire was incendiary or deliberately set, with the area of origin located inside the main entrance of the building.

RFPS will work with the Regina Police Service to investigate the circumstances involved with this fire.
