Riders announce contract extension for GM Jeremy O’Day, parting ways with HC Craig Dickenson.

The changes have begun with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

On Monday, the football club announced they would be parting ways with head coach Craig Dickenson after leading the green and white for four seasons.

Dickenson was appointed the team’s head coach back in 2019 and led Saskatchewan to a pair of appearances in the Western Final in 2019 and 2021.

Over the last two seasons, the Roughriders have missed the playoffs with the team finishing both campaigns with identical 6-12 records and seven-game losing skids.

The team also announced that General Manager and Vice-President of Football Operations Jeremy O’Day has received a contract extension.

Both O’Day and President CEO Craig Reynolds will speak with the media on Monday afternoon.

O’Day was named as General Manager in 2019 when Chris Jones left the Roughriders to join the NFL’s Cleveland Browns.
