Moose Jaw police have arrested two people after an investigation into stolen property led to a significant drug seizure.

At about 2 p.m. Monday, the Moose Jaw Police Service received a report from a stolen skid steer. Officers tracked the skid steer to a garage on the 1200 block of Ninth Avenue NE.

There, they arrested a 39-year-old woman from Calgary, Martina Valentini, and 38-year-old Moose Jaw man Chad Gienow 

Also in that garage were a total of 439 grams of Fentanyl… with an estimated street value of $175,000… as well as 51.9 grams of cocaine, an imitation firearm, drug trafficking paraphernalia, an imitation firearm and $4,640 in Canadian currency.

Police also found 1 kg of an unknown substance and are working to determine what that is.

Both suspects are making their first court appearances in Moose Jaw today.
