The University of Regina Rams (1-7) finished the 2023 season on Saturday with a 43-11 loss to the University of Saskatchewan Huskies(5-3).

Receiver Rylan Sokul scored the lone touchdown for the Rams in the loss.

Huskies running back Ryker Frank had 172 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Rams running back Olivier Savard had 118 rushing yards.

The Huskies will finish in third spot in the Canada West standings and will meet the Alberta Golden Bears (6-2) in the first round of the playoffs.

The other semi-final will see the UBC Thunderbirds (6-2) host the University of Manitoba Bisons (3-5).
