The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced the best of 2023 with the league’s All-Stars on Wednesday.
No members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders were named CFL All-Stars. The last time the Roughriders had an All-Star was in 2019.
The Toronto Argonauts had a league-high eight selections.
The 2023 CFL All-Stars include seven national players, 16 first-timers and 11 players who have been selected on multiple occasions throughout their careers
For the first time ever, fans also voted for their Fan Favourite Player with Winnipeg’s Brady Oliveira taking the title, with BC Lions Vernon Adams finishing second and Toronto Argonauts AJ Ouellette ended up in third spot for voting.
