Swift Current Rural RCMP says that two people are dead after a collision last night.

The collision happened on Highway #4 near Lac Pelletier. An investigation determined that a truck and minivan collided with the drivers of both vehicles being declared dead by EMS at the scene.

The truck driver has been identified as an 82-year-old male from Nelville, and the van’s driver is a 35-year-old male from Cadillac.

The sole passenger of the truck was treated at a hospital for injuries described as non-life-threatening. The van had no passengers.
