Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for a large portion of southern Saskatchewan. The communities of Eastend, Shaunavon, Climax, Val Marie, Mankota, Gravelbourg, Assiniboia, Coronach, and Big Beaver are all under the warning.
According to the weather office, a low pressure system from the US will cross into Canada and dump 5 to 10 cm of snow over the affected areas. Cypress Hills and the Grasslands Parks could see as much as 15 cm of snow. The system is expected to be a fast moving system that will start off with rain before turning into flurries.
The snow is expected to taper off by early Thursday morning.
