Canadian Wide Receiver Brayden Lenius will be wearing green and white once again.
On Thursday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders announced they’ve agreed to terms with Lenius on a one-year contract extension.
The 6’5 222 lb wide receiver will return for his fifth season with the Roughriders.
Last year, Lenuis was dealt with a pair of serious injuries. First he suffered a lacerated kidney during the final pre-season game in Winnipeg. In his return to the lineup in Week 8, he sustained a Lisfranc injury that ended his season.
Lenius returned to Saskatchewan in August of 2022 after being signed by the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons earlier that offseason.
Along with his role on the field, Lenius has been an ambassador of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation. He has visited classrooms throughout the province talking about healthy coping mechanisms, relationships and mental health, and tips for managing anxiety and stress.
