Pats begin Alberta road swing in Medicine Hat

With the Canadian Western Agribition taking over the Brandt Centre this week, the Regina Pats will begin a three-game road trip through Alberta tonight in Medicine Hat.

Following tonight’s game, the Pats will head north for matchups in Red Deer and Edmonton.

Recently, the Pats have been busy altering their roster, beginning with a trade with Brandon where they acquired forward Anthony Wilson. They then traded defenceman Carter Herman to Saskatoon and acquired forward Logan Peskett.

Yesterday, 20-year-old goalie Drew Sim was placed on waivers. Sim hasn’t played in the 2023-24 regular season as he recovered from offseason surgery. In his absence, the Pats have relied on 18-year-olds Ewan Huet and Kelton Pyne to handle the goaltending duties.
