A teaching assistant at Ecole Gravelbourg School has been charged with sex offences involving a teen aged male student at the school.

After what RCMP call a lengthy investigation, Dannica Lowes of Moose Jaw has been charged with multiple counts, including sexual assault and sexual interferance.

Lowes will make a court appearance in Assiniboia on December 14th.

In a news release the Saskatchewan RCMP say “Thorough and sensitive investigation into reports of sexual based offences is an utmost priority for the Saskatchewan RCMP. As part of this investigation – and any other investigation into reports of sexual assaults against children or other vulnerable populations.”

The Saskatchewan RCMP say they are continuing their investigation, and are actively looking for other potential victims.
