The head coach of the Swift Current Broncos has been handed a five-game suspension for violating the Western Hockey League’s standards of conduct.
No details on the violation have been provided other than it occurred during a team practice on November 13th.
The Broncos said the following day that Devan Praught had been suspended indefinitely.
The W-H-L says Praught has served three games of the suspension and has two games left to serve.
The team says it is holding its own investigation, and notes they are committed to holding players and staff to the highest standards of conduct both on and off the ice.
