The Regina Pats added some depth in their crease.
On Monday, the Pats acquired 2006-born goaltender Madden Mulawka from the Prince George Cougars in exchange for a 7th round selection (via Saskatoon) in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft.
Mulawka played in three games with the Cougars last season. He was a member of Team Canada White in the 2022 U17 World Hockey Challenge and represented Alberta in the 2021 WHL Cup.
The 17-year-old is currently playing with the Edmonton Jr. Oilers U18 team with a 2-0-1 record with a 2.95 G.A.A and a .904 SV% in three games.
The 6-foot-1, 197 lb. goaltender was a fifth round selection by the Cougars of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
