The Regina Police Service, Regina Fire and Protective Services and The Saskatchewan Coroners Service are looking into a house fire that killed two people Saturday.
Fire fighters were called out to the 800 block of Rae Street around 8:30 Saturday morning. When they arrived, the found the home fully engulfed in flames.
Two people who escaped the flames told firefighters there were still two people inside. Fire fighters worked to get those people out and control the fire, but by the time they were recovered, they were dead.
The fire damaged one of the homes next door, and four people who lived there are temporarily homeless.
The cause of this fire is under investigation.
