The Regina Pats managed to points in all three games of their road trip through Alberta on the weekend after a 3-2 overtime loss in Edmonton on Sunday.
Jaxsin Vaughan and Borya Valis scored for the Pats. Valis also collected his 100th career point in the Western Hockey League with the goal.
Between the pipes, Madden Mulawka made his debut for Regina, making 27 saves in the loss.
On the other end, the The Oil Kings snapped their four game losing-streak with their ninth victory of the season, picking up their third victory of the season against the Pats. Marshall Finnie scored the overtime winner.
Nathan Pilling and Joe Iginla also scored for Edmonton. For Iginla, the goal marked his career WHL goal. Kolby Hay backstopped the Oil Kings to the win making 33 saves.
Regina will now head into the Christmas break two points back of the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
The Pats are back in action on December 27 when they travel to Brandon to meet the Wheat Kings.
