The Regina Police Service said that the death investigation launched on Thursday is now being investigated as a homicide.

It was on Thursday at 4:03 p.m. that officers were dispatched to the area of the 1300 block of Retallack Street. When officers arrived, they found a man who was transported by EMS to the Regina General Hospital where he later was confirmed dead.

The RPS said that they will not be releasing the victim’s name at this time.
