In Shaunavon, RCMP are actively investigating a brazen break-in that occurred on December 30, 2023. Thieves employed a stolen truck in a daring heist, using chains to forcibly extract an ATM from a local business.

The suspects, one dressed in all black and the other sporting a distinctive blue/green plaid jacket with a red hoodie underneath, successfully made off with the stolen cash.

Following the incident, Shaunavon RCMP located both the pilfered truck and the ATM on rural roads west of the town. Remarkably, the thieves had already removed all the cash from the stolen ATM. Law enforcement is urging anyone with pertinent information about the crime to come forward and assist the ongoing investigation.
