The cold weather caused a pipe to burst at Regina’s City Hall, forcing the closure of the municipal offices today.
In a release issued Sunday night – the city of Regina says that “Due to the effects of extreme weather” a pipe burst at city hall over the weekend. The release goes on to say that the offices would be closed to both staff and residents.
Many city hall staff are reported to be working remotely today.
No time frame has been given for city Hall’s reopening.
