The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed a pair of defensive players on Thursday, American linebacker K.D. Davis and American defensive line Roman Lee Harrison.
Davis (6’0-230) spent five seasons (2018-22) with the University of North Texas Mean Green. In his senior season, he was named the Conference USA (CUSA) Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-CUSA, CUSA Linebacker of the Year and a Fourth Team All-American. His 139 defensive tackles that season ranked first in the CUSA.
Harrison (6’2-235) was with Tennessee for the last five seasons (2019-23). During his time with the Volunteers, he register 108 career defensive tackles, including 17 for a loss, eight sacks and 13 quarterback hurries.
