The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive back C.J. Coldon.
Coldon (5’10-186) joined the Minnesota Vikings following the 2023 NFL Draft and spent the majority of the season on the team’s practice roster.
In his final college season, the Illinois native transferred to Oklahoma. During his time as a Sooner, he made 42 defensive tackles, including two tackles for loss, four interceptions and six pass deflections. His four interceptions led the team.
Prior to joining Oklahoma, Coldon spent time with the University of Wyoming (2017-21). He started 21 games, collecting 115 defensive tackles, seven tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions, 16 pass deflections, and two fumble recoveries, including one he returned for a touchdown.
