Nationwide Manhunt for two Suspected in First Degree Murder Case

The Regina Police are actively seeking information on two suspects involved in a murder case that occurred in the Regina on July 29. 


Daniel “Juma” Drie Atem and Shedrek Samuel are both subjects of a nationwide manhunt, wanted for first-degree murder in connection to the incident near the General Hospital.


Atem, standing at 6-foot-3 with a thin build, approximately 140 pounds, is identified by his distinctive features of black hair and brown eyes. Samuel, measuring 5-foot-9 and weighing around 150 pounds, possesses similar distinguishing features of black hair and brown eyes.


The incident unfolded in the early hours of July 29 when officers responded to a distress call in the 2100 block of Broad Street just before 2:30 a.m. The victim, whose identity and injuries remain undisclosed, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.


The Regina Police are  urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Atem or Samuel to contact them at 306-777-6500, or by providing anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
