Thanks Curl Canada – we have a Saskatchewan Day, Sunday March 3 at the Brandt Centre.
It is the beginning of the Montana’s BBQ & Bar Brier Friday at the Brandt Centre. An evening draw gets you in the mood, then a pop over to the Viterra International Trade Centre for the Reklaws as they open the Original 16 Brier Patch. And we all know the Patch is where the action happens. Whether you are watching the draw on the big screen or visiting. Stop in to party.
We love the Saskatchewan Day because it offers you the chance to show your provincial passion. The Saskatchewan Roughrider Pep Band will be playing during the Sunday festivities. As the official party band of very event, the Pep Band gets the crowd pumped. Dig out your best green which could include a great Sask Curling Sweater or a Roughrider jersey. I don’t think anyone is too picky. Besides, the Brier is just like the Grey Cup except longer!
We love seeing people have a good time and invite you to meet all of 620 CKRM’s crew at the Montana’s Brier. Take photos, send them to us through our text line or tag us on our X account. (PS. 306 936-6262 is the text number) Feel free to tell us about who you meet and how many curling events you attend.
Here’s another brilliant thing to think about during Brier week, eating! Everyone gets hungry and whether you head to the title sponsor’s place or any one of the other great bars, cafes or restaurant’s in Regina’s downtown, get out of your comfort zone and enjoy. The atmosphere and the excitement are here. Plus you might just be sitting next to a bona fide curler or at least a fan from across Canada. 620 CKRM cannot say this enough.
