Canadian Football League fans come to Regina through-out the season to experience Mosaic Stadium. Fans supporting the Hamilton Ti-Cats, Ottawa Redblacks, Toronto Argonauts and B.C. Lions have chartered flights out to visit over the years. The fan experience allows visiting a new city and Saskatchewan hospitality. Hopefully the Riders win these home games, but you never can tell. One thing we do know home grown fans or those traveling are treated to some great hospitality when it comes to visiting Mosaic Stadium.
Mosaic seating offers great view points throughout the stadium. Options for food and beverage are varied, plus places to warm up or cool down are available through spring, summer and fall. The Roughrider merchandise is vast and you must have the mini-donuts and purchase a 50/50. If you have never been to a Rider home game, where do you find all of these things you see, smell and hear about? EASY! Just ask one of the many sharply dressed Rider Volunteer Squad members. They are at the gates welcoming you, they are placed at each section keeping the flow of people moving, they hold signs directing you to the upper levels, they have your back when it comes to misplacing something or someone. The Fan Ambassador Team is managed by people that know their way around volunteers and the art of volunteering.
Good Morning Saskatchewan had a chance to speak to Robert Harrison, Volunteer & Guest Experience Manager on what the Rider Squad requirements are and the benefits of joining in.
If you are ready to be apart of the second Roughrider team then here a recap of what you need to know. There’s a $50 one time fee which basically pays for your game day gear. A minimum commitment of 6 games through the current season. Perks also include Rider Squad exclusive events, prizing, special orientation and training for positive game day experiences for volunteers and fans. Sounds like a fun way to support the organization, then hop on line and sign up.
Coming up Friday, the portal for application will be open at www.riderville.com
