The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame mobile unit is stationed at the Montana’s Brier. The trailer is a treasure trove of provincial sports history, full of pictures, items, and stories. Among the items is Rick Folk’s curling sweater from his mixed curling days as well as several pictures and stories from the legendary Ernie Richardson curling team. Folk was the last Saskatchewan skip to win the Brier back in 1980.
We caught up with Vickie Krauss of the Sports Hall of Fame for a tour of the curling exhibits in their mobile trailer. Fans can visit the trailer this week from 9:00am to 7:30pm. On the final three days of the Brier (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) the trailer will be open 90 minutes before the first draw of the day and close 30 mins after the last draw.
I highly recommend you check it out if you’re going to the Montana’s Brier. It’s worth a visit.
