On Sunday morning a man allegedly attacked a woman at knife point in Regina’s Pasqua Hospital.
At approximately 6:25 a.m., police were alerted to a weapons offence involving 34-year-old Chad Pratt. Inside a hospital waiting area, Pratt wielded a bladed weapon, targeting a woman and demanding her belongings. Despite fleeing with her bag, Pratt’s escape was short-lived, thanks to hospital security.
Remarkably, the victim was unharmed in the robbery, a testament to the quick actions taken to contain the situation. Pratt, already under release order conditions prohibiting knife possession, now faces serious charges, including robbery and failure to comply with the terms of his release.
The 34-year-old made his initial court appearance on March 11, 2024, where he faced charges related to the robbery.
