At around 7 p.m., emergency crews rushed to the scene of a house fire in the 900 Block of Garnet Street in Regina.

Upon arrival, firefighters were met with heavy smoke and flames engulfing the main floor, with the fire spreading to the roof.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances leading to the incident.

In a dramatic video posted to social media by Regina Fire and protective services flames can bee seen pouring from the back of the home.
