BOMBERS 3, MUSTANGS 4 (2OT)

Aidyn Hutchinson scored the game winner just 4:48 into the 5th period to lead the Melfort Mustangs to a 4-3 win over the Flin Flon Bombers to take a 3-0 series lead in the Best of 7 SJHL Canterra Seeds Cup Final.

Leith Olafson scored twice while Logan Belton also scored for the Mustangs who got 43 saves from netminder James Venne in the win.

Carter Anderson, Keefe Gruener and Adam McNutt also scored for the Bombers.

The Mustangs can clinch the title on home ice with a victory in Game 4 on Thursday night at the Northern Lights Palace.
