Regina Police have arrested and charged a 16 year old after a robbery Friday, on Victoria Avenue.
Police were called to a business at Vic Ave and Fleet in the east end around 1130 in the morning. Someone had come into the store and pointed a bear spray canister at an employee, and left with items from that business. A suspect matching the description was found a short distance away. A can of bear spray was also recovered.
The 16 year old can not be named, and is facing multiple charges:
Robbery – Sec. 344(1)(B) (CC)
Resist Arrest – Sec. 129(A) (CC)
Carrying Concealed Weapon – Sec. 90 (CC)
Possession Of Property Obtained By Crime Under $5000 – Sec. 355(B) (CC)
Disguise With Intent – Sec. 351(2) (CC)
The 16 year old accused will make their first court appearance tomorrow morning
