Moose Jaw RCMP are investigating after human remains were found in a rural area northeast of Moose Jaw last Sunday afternoon.

Forensic experts believe the remains have been there for over 10 years. While investigators do not suspect foul play, the individual has not been identified.

RCMP, with the assistance of the Historical Case Unit, are conducting searches in the area. Residents may notice increased police presence. Anyone with information is urged to contact Moose Jaw RCMP.
