Regina city crews will start spraying for cankerworms starting tomorrow, but they don’t want to get any collateral damage when they do.
They will treat over 1,000 trees using a BTK organic product, safe for humans, pets, and wildlife.
Residents near the spraying zones will receive a 48-hour notice with instructions such as closing windows and keeping pets indoors.
This initiative aims to protect the city’s trees and urban forest. For more information, visit Regina.ca/pests or call 306-777-7777.
