RPS Veterans Association Delivers Big Cheque to the Salvation Army in Regina

Its one of the “big” fundraising events of the year in Regina. Classic cars from a variety of eras on display for everyone to enjoy.

The 8th Annual Regina Police Service Veterans Association and the Regina Police Service put on their eighth annual “Show and Shine” on June 2nd at Conexus Arts Centre. All of the proceeds are being donated to the Salvation Army in Regina.

At Harvard Media Headquarters in Regina, members of the Veterans Association handed the Salvation Army a cheque for $10,664.71. This will help the Salvation Army with their many programs assisting people in the city.

For the first seven years, this event was staged at the RPS Headquarters building on Osler in Regina. This was the first time it was put on at Conexus, and it seems to be a big succcess.

The RPS Veterans put on the “Show and Shine” annually, in the first week of June.
