Regina Hangar Party!

Who doesn’t like a good hangar party!? No hanging up clothes here, it is an event that celebrates and acknowledges Hope Air Saskatchewan and the Prairies Missions that have taken place in 2024. The event is tomorrow, Wednesday, June 26 at 6pm. The Regina Flying Club will host Hope Air pilots, patients and give people a chance to learn more about this unique group of pilots and patients. Hope Air was founded in 2017, Give Hope Wings combines love for aviation and community impact. Jack Semple Trio will be performing, there will be local and provincial stakeholders speaking on the importance of Hope Air. Also insight from the volunteer pilots on their fundraising goals and why they do what they do. In 2023, demand for travel arrangements for healthcare increased by 125% in the community of Regina and they only continue to grow. Hope Air makes sure all patients can access that care without barriers of cost and distance. At an average cost of $425 per travel arrangement, Hope Air will ensure no patient gets left behind.

The CEO of Hope Air, the Give Hope Wings Prairie Expedition Captain and the Saskatchewan Minister of Health will be there.  Sponors of the event include: CCR Construction Ltd., Regina Airport Authority, Regina Flying Club and Prairie Flying Service.
